Please use the contact us link to email us information on your work.   Should you send us your script at our mailing address, Attn
Michael Bailey, Artistic Director, c/o Stage 5 Theatre, 1507 Cowhorn Rd, Winnsboro, SC 29180, please note that if you want
your script back you will need to include return postage. We are looking to establish a Board for Stage 5 Theatre and if you are

Stage 5
Theatre is  looking for a permanent home for our production company.
If you know of a location
or, anyone with a location looking for  a company  that is progressive and even edgy at times,   we
would  appreciate  hearing from you or them. Movies behind the Mall, our old location, has gone
into foreclosure forcing us out of that space. We were in full rehearsals for both shows, "Same
Time Next Year" and "Second Weekend in September",  and had to tear  down  sets and stage and
put them into temporary storage  while we search  for a new performance  venue.  If you know of
any available space we want to hear from you immediately.  Your help and support is not only
appreciated but needed.
SEUSSICAL JR.  -  The Musical  -   all children Cast
Seussical Jr. is a children's musical based on the popular Dr. Seuss books and include characters
from those books.  It is an energised musical with lots of songs and dance and tumbling and even an
elephant (Horton) sitting in a tree, on an egg for an absent Mother bird.  There are approximately
33 musical numbers in the performance that will delight children of all ages who are privileged to
see the show.
Micheal Bailey, Stage 5 Artistic Director, was asked by
the Jewish Community Center to Direct their first
ambitious fore' into Children's Theatre for them.  Michael
is on loan from MBF Productions.  Michael is working
with a group of  talented young people ranging in age from
5 years old to 14 years old.  With 35 songs total in the
production, he has his hands full.  There are some 16
young people in the production and each has a key part to
play and are eager to show off their skills to audience and
parents alike.  The musical is a modern adaption and is full
of high energy and lively action on the stage as well as
some outstanding young vocalist.  Horton, the Elephant, of
Horton Hears a Who fame, finds himself baby sitting an
egg for a Mother Bird while she goes to Palm Springs for
a much needed rest.  Horton hears a Who, on a bunch of
clover, and the mayhem begins.  Come watch the fun and
antics as Horton tries to save the people of Who, and he
ends up in Court.  See Horton and the Mother Bird at the
circus.  See the Monkeys steal the patch of clover and
make fun of Horton's silly ideas.  Watch as Mr. Mayor of
Whoville and Mrs. Mayor struggle with a rebellious child.
Watch The Cat in the Hat as he struggles to educate the
boy JoJo about imagination and standing up for what is
right, against ALL odds.  I think you will find this an
excellent play for all ages and something to learn for each
of us.  If you haven't gotten your tickets, you should soon
because this is a Limited engagement offerings.
Emily Fincher, has taken on the dual role of Music and
Vocal Director for the production of Sessusical Jr., the
musical.  She has the honor of taking young voices and
merging them into a working theatre company of artist.
She has done an outstanding job with the complicated
music and script and has helped mold a group of young
talented children into a delightful and entertaining stage
troupe.  Working with Michael Bailey, the Director, she
has been instrumental in molding the young voices into a
delight for every member of the audience.  Emily and
Michael have taken these young people into tumbling,
acting, and music in a manner and way that will have you
talking and humming for days after seeing the performance
at the Jewish Community Center.  We highly, recommend
you bring all your kids, of all ages, to see this piece of true
music theatre.  We think you will find your time with the
production fun and entertaining.
